You can have two PUT methods in one Resource class, how ever each method needs to be annotated with @Path each directs to different paths.

In My Project i need to start the Issue id from 100. But Jira ID are Auto generated. In Which Table Should i change to start with custom value (100). I've tried to Change Pcounter value in project table , it din't work.
Could you help me please.

superb example. thank you.

I struggled to understand the code and had to implement the loadcustomer function myself.
This is the function
public String loadCustomer(String customerId) throws FileNotFoundException, IOException
{
Properties properties = new Properties();
properties.load(new FileInputStream(DATA_FILE));
String info = properties.getProperty(customerId);
System.out.println("INFO is "+info);
return info;
}
for all the functions of addCustomer, UpdateCustomer, DeleteCustomer you just need to call them from main method of a class. but I will highly appreciate Surya.Thank you

Parser Combinators are excellent for quickly whipping up a parser in Scala without introducing additional dependencies. If you are looking at building more complex parsers, need better performance, better error reporting or even parse error recovery (so the parser can report more than just the first parse error) you might also want to check out parboiled (http://www.parboiled.org) as an alternative.

Followed these instructions and everything compiled and installed nicely, but on the Create Custom Field page I see "There are no search templates for this custom field type." A bit surprised because the instructions seemed pretty simple.

Will let you know if I find something.

Found a rendering issue on the first line of the Velocity Template:
#if($value && !$value.equals(""))
Should be:
#if($value && !$value.equals(""))

I follow exactly the same steps that Surya described in his blog. But, it's not working. I copied the Jersey jars(asm-3.1.jar, jersey-core-1.5.jar, jersey-server-1.5.jar, jsr311-api-1.0.jar) into /RestExample/WebContent/WEB-INF/lib. Then I pasted the Jersey servlet declaration in the /WebContent/WEB-IN/web.xml file. My web.xml now looks like this:

Eclipse automatically put the resource class HelloWorldResource that I created into /RestExample/Java Resources: src/. After I started Tomcat, I tried http://localhost:8080/RestExample/helloworld on the browser. It's giving me the following error:

description The requested resource (/RestExample/helloworld) is not available.

I even tried creating a "classes" folder underneath /WebContent/WEB-INF and placing the HelloWorldResource in that folder. It's still not working. Can you please tell me what I am possibly doing wrong?

I have had a pretty bad experience with Webdriver, I have switched back to using Selenium Client.
Webdriver seems like it still in its infancy and many API I use in client such as handling alerts and confirmations and waiting for certain actions like effects and ajax are not available in Webdriver.

I assume at some point these api's will be merged? Until then I will have to stick with Client
